Growing confident and connected jarjums
The Junior School years of a jarjums life is a voyage of discovery during which they develop a love of learning and an appetite for education.  The Junior School jarjums are supported by 3 Indigenous Education workers who assist with classroom learning, intervention and extension.

Early Years Curriculum

The Prep to 3 team pride themselves on creating warm, inviting, culturally safe classrooms so that jarjums feel secure and engaged for optimum learning.

we aim to empower our youngest jarjums to build proud Indigenous identities, so they are confident in taking part in a diverse and multicultural society.

Throughout the Early Years, jarjums are introduced to a range of subjects to help them build a solid foundation in numeracy and literacy skills, including:

Music
Drama 
Dance
Languages (traditional)

Upper Primary Curriculum

The Year 4-6 curriculum builds upon the foundations laid in the Early Years. Jarjums continue to grow and learn through Indigenous practices. 

Lessons are taught with a strong focus on embedding Indigenous Knowledges and Ways of Working into the Australian Curriculum. Practices such as Acknowledgement, Yarning Circles, singing in Language and use of our Respect Principles is a pivotal part of the Upper Primary.
