Hymba Yumba is committed to ensuring that each jarjum has access to and can develop a unique set of skills from a variety of different avenues including school-based learning through vocational pathways; community; work experience or through personal interest.
Whether jarjums are looking to move straight into the workforce, or take an initial step towards tertiary education, an Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification can take jarjums where they want to go.
Hymba Yumba actively builds upon the scope of vocational courses each year and seeks funding to source additional learning opportunities for jarjums to access more than one vocational course.
VET courses provide jarjums with hands on experience and equips them with the necessary theoretical knowledge to successfully gain workforce qualifications.
